    I haven't tried the cardboard servers. They aren't on my server list. But the regular ones are working fine.

    Since yesterday mine has been taking an extremely long time to go from the main menu to character select. Hopefully the maintenance fixes some of this.

    Since yesterday mine has been taking an extremely long time to go from the main menu to character select. Hopefully the maintenance fixes some of this.

    Mine was doing that for a few days then it just cleared up on its own yesterday.

    Clear the cache:
    Power down completely. Go through the power down cycle, not hard shutdown like some people say. Hard shutdowns are not good for any device with an operating system if done too often.
    Unplug the power cable from the back of the console so that the power brick in not connected to the console.
    Press the power button on the console three or four times. This will ensure that any remaining power in the battery is drained, clearing the cache on the console.
    Plug the power cable back into the console.
    Wait for the light on the power brick to change from white to orange.
    Turn on the console using the power button.

    Just to offer reference, since the October One Tamriel update I and others have comments in the support forums where some of us have to hard reset or restart a few times as suggested by support but what follows is the failure to connect to the ZOS servers when they aren't down and when there are no Xbox live issues or network or ISP issues.

    It's the message of connection timed out after sitting on the login screen where th logo keeps circling or connecting and choosing your character and being dropped 4-5 times each or after you get in being dropped

    Once you do get in finally the game crashes to the desktop 100% of the time when the previous occurs.

    Tickets have been opened but support only defers to saying they're closing on he ticket and to create a bug ticket instead

    It's been almost a month so the OP may have experiences of some of this but the servers are down still today.

    Note: These occur with and without ports forwarded with an Open NAT wired on a 1gig up and down Google Fiber connection.

    People dont seem to read the title. this is about Xbox, all other servers are up at the moment but for some bull reason they are saying there is an issue with the Xbox live service preventing them from finishing the update.... if you click the link i dont see any errors with the Game part of it....

    Well hell, we should all just quit playing, how dare they have problems. It's a Microsoft issue, it's in the maintenance announcements. Please be patient your fantasy world will be restored in good time. Thank you for your patience during these very trying times.

    Click the Link Gina provided. Maybe that will answer your questions :)

    I would say there is something on 1 of the LIMITED Services there that is keeping Zos from being able to get their patch through.

    Under Purchase and Content Usage
    Affected services: Buying downloadable items, Browsing the Xbox Video Store and the Xbox Music Store

    This would be the only issue, but the affected services shouldn't impede the hotfix.
