Question on gear scaling

If I make a level 1 set of training gear could he use it all the way to 50? Like does it all scale with him bc of 1tam

JasonSilverSpring✭✭✭✭✭No, crafted gear does not scale as you level up. And unfortunately you cannot upgrade it to higher levels. Using low level gear handicaps you more in 1T than before. I recommend either using dropped gear or periodically crafting new gear. Note how many stars you have on character view.0 -
Mr_Apollo✭✭✭To be honest, I levelled my toon from lvl 1 to lvl 50 with only wearing lvl 4 gear, I didn't die as much as youd expect (few times cause wasn't paying attention) and did rather well. The gear does scale with you, an iron sword that deals 20 damage will deal over 1k because its scaled. Its not the most optimal gear, the optimal thing would be constantly changing to reach higher DPS but you didn't ask for optimal, you asked for efficiency, so yes, you can use lvl 1 gear till lvl 50"Am I truly lost? The gear itself does not scale. We as players get stronger. The gear gives less and less as we gain levels above it. Easiest way to see this is crit chance.0 -

✭✭✭✭I have 2 training sets. One is level 4 and the other is around 15 or something. I used to have one around 30 as well but the mid ranged one still worked more than well enough to get the job done so I deconstructed it.0
