I finally got my crafting to a reasonable point where I can tailor stuff for my characters. So, given that there are so many procs of shock I thought shock weapons would be good for my stam sorc. I don't see much discussion on this so wanted to see if there are more experienced minds than mine.

Thanks for your thoughts.

If it matters, I run with a combo of Storm Knight, Venom and/or Red Mountain (still playing around -- might get Briarheart as well depending on RNG).

I believe that for enchants, Wpn Damage, Crushing (armor pen), or Disease dmg (for healing debuff), are generally considered the best for damage. But hey, don't let that stop you from running shock damage! I'm sure you can pull great dps in the majority of content running your favorite enchants on your weaps.

    Looking for easy acquisition...
Night mother gaze is good, esp for the weapons. That takes a big chunk off the grind time.
I like myself like easy to get night terror - on being hit 2k damage per sec - for 2 body and jewels.
Add in any good monster 2pc and good to go or if 2-mons are not avail any set ehere the 2pc bonus is crit or damage or sta.

Proudly skooma free while talks-when-drunk is in mandatory public housing.

you can get plenty of shock damage dots going without enchants on weapons, also i know a lot of people have said llambris is good for sorcs (take that with grain of salt as i personally dont like llambris as it targets location of target on proc, and very small radius) which if you were to run that you would wanna split also into some fire dots. end of day though, its your build, play around with it, figure out what you like and how best to utilize it.

While Sorcs do get a small bonus to shock damage, if you're a stam build you shouldn't be basing your build around Elemental damage effects which scale better from Spell damage/max mag and the related CP perks.
Ex. I hope you're not running Boundless Storm over Hurricane. That small % bonus will NEVER match, much less outperform, standard scaling with aligned weapon/stam scaling skills.

The main reason people like shock damage on (mag)Sorcs is because of the chance of procing the Implosion passive which, as you'll see from checking the tool tip, also procs off physical damage now.
What The_Outsider said is correct; you're almost always better served by a weapon damage enchant than the flat damage spike enchants, save for the disease damage one which can help in PvP because it can cut healing, which is important in the current sustain meta.

    Hope that helps! :)

Thanks. I had missed the point re: implosion -- makes sense. Also, yes Hurricane for the win.
