I have a question about my weapon.

So yesterday I got a sharpened 2h great sword and today I just got a sharpened 2h maul (I know it's not fair) and was wondering which is best for pvp. If any of you numbers guys out there have an answer, please let me know and why, thanks!

the sword would be better for pvp, wards don't have armor to penetrate. so it is extra 5% all the time vs and extra 2-10% some of the time.

As a stamina sorcerer you should stay mostly melee, because your hurricane can crit, do a lot of damage and heal you. So you can go 1H+S/2H instead, and use the ransack taunt from the 1H+S line.

It depends on what you're attacking and whether you have them debuffed with fracture. For example if you're doing a heavy attack opener from stealth on a heavy armor dude with 25k armor, this is when the mace really shines as it will provide you 5k penetration (10% dmg increase). However, let's say you have major fracture up on a light armor user and their remaining armor is 6000 - it provides you a whole 1200 penetration, and you still end up overpenetrating with sharpened anyway so you're just losing the 5% from sword with no gains.
