I just think it's stupid, when was the last time anyone changed anyone else's mind about politics by arguing on the internet? Still though, I don't think you'll get your wish. This election had too much energy on both sides, some people are gonna gloat and some people are gonna get mad. I don't envy any NA players playing on the EU servers right now.

I am pretty sure it is against terms of service to discuss issues outside game. I hope mods do a good job of shutting down threads like that and keeping the ESO forums friendly and ESO-oriented.

If you stop taking the arguments so seriously -- I find it really fun to read/listen to them. If you happen to get into an argument, and you're well-informed on the topics you're discussing -- I see no reason why that wouldn't be a fun bit of banter. It can even be pretty humorous at times.

Problem is there is a limit on how many people you can have on your ignore list....a rather low limit because I hit it in just minutes.

And killing zone chat isn't always the answer. I had to quit three guilds who didn't understand that when you're on the Internet you are no longer in one specific country.

It was the nice part about 1 Tamriel, the faction rivalry trash talking was a welcome change to the political drivel. I mean of course you plebs are going to flock to Wayrest its far superior to those mudholes you call towns.

I think it's more a case of fact checking being put on ignore this past year.

Only guild chat discussions I've seen where folks demanded sources to verify remarks was in an RP guild.
