That's it so far. Gotta mention I ran vMA over 400 times in the past and have 6 sets of Sharpened stam weapons (Sharp Bow + Dagger + Axe). This was my very first Inferno Staff. I have 6 Sharpened Ice Staffs and 5 Sharpened Lightning Staffs. Guess what? I'm a Dunmer Magicka Nightblade.
There are so many threads about vMA RNG, yet, not a single comment on it from ZOS.

vMA isn't challenging anymore. It's just an annoying chore. Due to power creep, every boss mechanic is skippable now:
1. First boss dies before the 2 adds spawn.
2. Once you get the timing, you can kill the 2nd bosses one after the other without "toilet mode," skipping the whole mechanic.
3. Just burn the Lamia, ignore adds.
4. Spider dies before adds spawn.
5. The only round with somewhat unskippable mechanic. Let the boss destroy the first platform + kill adds. Then burn.
6. Play the 4th round smart, leave 1 obelisk webbed, unweb on boss spawn, burn boss.
7. Boss dies 1 - 2 sec after his first roar attack.
8. Easiest boss in game. Destroy 3 totems, burn boss.
9. Burn boss to under 70% (adds are skipped), kill Clannfear on platform, kill 3 crystals (usually 1 wall explosion), burn boss.
I can do this with my eyes closed. Not sure when was the last time I had a non-flawless run. But it was definitely due to me leaving the computer mid-round, not because of being outplayed by enemies. Adds die the moment they spawn. The content is boring for me. I like to be competitive and strive to be the best. I want to run fun content - 12-man trials. ZOS, please stop making me run this boring content over and over again. I've run it enough. Please give me a Sharpened Inferno Staff.

I totally agree that rng is feels like crap, and you definitely deserve something for how many times you've ran it, but it feels incredibly easy because you have had spent SO much time mastering mechanics and (I assume) you are max cp. To someone below cap and not experienced, it is still VERY challenging.

Expected worse drop after I got 10 resto staves. Also I got very little amount of 2h non staff weapons, so RNG looks really random so far...
It's not. Maelstrom Inferno backbar for wall of elements, Aether/Moondancer front bar. Also with some adjustments to cp and good uptime of alkosh on bosses both sharpend and precise are almost equal. @Stillian always uses precise and getting good numbers with it

Stillian doesn't have a Precise Inferno. He only has a Nirnhoned and a Defending one, which he both got yesterday.
And yes, if I get a Precise Inferno, I'll definitely test it.

Kena is only better in theory, in a 100% stationary fight where you don't have to move, stay in melee, and the bubbles are pressed for you (~2k more dps). As a Magblade, you're in ranged. As a ranged dps, it's also harder to catch bubbles often enough for Kena -> dps loss. Usually you're too far to proc Kena reliably. Also, there's the new bug now on Funnel light weave. And if you don't use Funnel, then why does the raid even need you?Any Sorc or Templar will deal more DPS.
I haven't found a monster set worth using, so I rather go for straight crit (Iceheart) and spell damage (Kena).
I cant even enjoy pve, and vma probably least of all because id have to focus. Whenever I did a pledge, just to get that bis mask or whatever I cringed beforehand, its terrible design that bis gear is only attainable through pve. @ZOS_RichLambert

I have gotten every single sharpened weapon except for a sharpened destro staff. I main a magsorc btw. There is no telling how many bows and resto staves I have gotten in sharpened.
My only 2 inferno staves I have ever gotten in vMA were decisive and defending. I was super excited when I seen the words inferno, until I seen the traits.
8 Resto Staffs, 5 of them Charged, in 19 runs.
I know this is a small sample, but considering each weapon's drop chance is supposed to be 1/12=8.3%... it's at the very least questionnable since others keep experiencing the same. Can't wait for a bigger sample (maybe from someone who's farming this more hardcore than I am) to see if there's really a much heavier weight on Restos and Bows, as suggested by @Alanar.

I can confirm.Same case with me and many guildies as well. Bows and restos have a higher drop rate for most of the people i know. And if you say anything about "RNG" is rigged then you have some potato-head sayin "RNG" is "RNG" and anything goes with a random number generator!!
156 weapons in inventory.
33 of them bows.
23 of them restos.
29 of them 1H and shield.
So 3 weapons out of the 12 have a drop rate of more than 50%.
But good luck in trying to get their attention.After i have a complete 200 weapons inventory i ll make a video and after that i am done trying to get them to listen.It's not like they dont know!!
They deliberately keep that stupid "RNG" to keep us in their game.
I just hope at some point people will team up and we can make them listen to us.
