Was one of the side quests one to go talk to a captain at the Mages Guild? That's the one that is the next quest in the AD storyline, and I think you should be able to get it from someone in Marbruk if you didn't get it from Ayrenn.Hi guys,
I sent a note to customer support about this issue but I was wondering if anyone can help me, I really want to progress in the AD main story tonight.
So, I was doing the quest to activate the Orrery and after killing the prince I turned the quest in. I saw then queen Ayrenn with the "start new quest" marking on her head but I had to log off. Once I logged back in, I was outside the Orrery (that's normal since it's a solo "area" and I knew this would happen).
The problem is, I cannot get back in. There is no quest to abandon since I already turned in the orrery one and I did not take the new quest before logging off. Right now I'm standing outside the Orrery's door trying to get in, since I know I have to take Ayrenn's quest.
Also, I know the story brings you to Marbuk so I tried going there, but I could only take the side quests and the mages guild one.
I would really appreciate any help on this.
Cheers!

There are a few NPCs you can talk to in Marbruk to get this quest going:

Note, Areyn is one of them, she has a house there. But you probably want to talk to Hazazi. Also, it helps to walk into Marbruk from North Grahtwood (up past the trading post)
Hey, she's got a lot going on!Enemy-of-Coldharbour wrote: »There are a few NPCs you can talk to in Marbruk to get this quest going:

Why is it that the Queen is always crying when you enter her house?

The worst one has to be that quest where you have to put powder in kegs of ale in some makeshift camp. The brewer spots you every time and you can't even kill him. At each keg (there are 4) I had to spam the action button for ages before that damn brewer shut the hell up. Was hidden too. Looked it up online and that quest has been bugged and irritating since the beginning.

What is strange is I did not need to do that that last time I took a character through that zone. I was waiting for it, but, nope, just took out the Werewolves, and things moved forward after that.
I think the thing with the Brewer is a side quest not needed for the Main Quest.
