When using the dark shaman costume and have crown store head and body markings on they do not show up once you zone. However, they do continue to show up on the character select screen and you have to double toggle (which makes me think it's still enabled just not showing visually) to put it back up.
Please take a look as the whole value in having this particular costume is showing off the tats.
