Just a little thing - Tamriel clock and calendar.

I think it would be neat if we could get a Tamriel clock and calendar added into the game. Just a silly little thing to add some extra immersion so we can keep up with Tamriel holidays and time etc.

I also say this as I have no idea what year it is in Tamriel now! Game obviously begins in 2E 582, but time has moved forward, the Planemeld has passed etc.

If we could get these added in, we can keep track! Thanks!

There's a pretty neat addon that can tell the time and date - http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info241-Clock-TamrielStandardTime.html

But yeah, I have nothing against a clock you can toggle on and off built in to benefit console players.

Thank you for that, @Alucardo, didn't know this existed. I'll download that. It would be nice to have an official one though as you say for console players, and not leaving everything to modders! Even though it's the Bethesda way . . .

I think it would be great to have a clock with "server time". I play on the EU server, but I am in the US so I am constantly having to convert scheduled event times to my own time zone, being sure to check when everyone goes on or off daylight savings (when its that time of year). This would make knowing exactly what time a scheduled event starts so much easier, because it would be listed as server time, which could be checked in game.

As for the calendar, WoW has a built in interactive in game calendar. On that calendar, you can schedule events, set a note, set the time (server time), and have people sign up for the event. On the day of the event, you click a button and it invites all who signed up. It's really really nice. They also list all major in game events on that calendar so you know when things are going to be happening (like holiday events). We could really use this in ESO.

..and they can tie it into game law with akatosh (time) and the 8 divines (seasons and cross quarter days).
..and they can tie it into classical metaphysics
    Cold, hot, wet, dry
    cold-wet, cold-dry,hot-dry,hot-wet.

Wouldn't the calendar reset for everyone though? I think...in my opinion it would destroy the immersion rather than add it, because lets say for example. Youre in Bleakrock island, and the Daggers are attacking the village, in the tutorial you have to rush to save as many people as you can before the Daggers arrive, now lets say you go AFK for an hour in the middle of the quest. Technically (depending on how the calendar works, if gametime is different lets say, like 20 minute equals to one day in game, which is what ill use as a metaphor), you would have spent 3 days standing in the snow doing nothing. If we are talking about immersion and how Rana rushes you, I would say the Daggers are pretty close, not 3 days away. Its...difficult to explain but what I'm saying is, it would ruin a bit of the immersion, questwise
