Completing 3 of ANY quests yields 1 skill point.

I propose we continue with the quality improvements found in 1T, and remove the remaining restrictions on exploration. Change it to where completing 3 of ANY quests rewards you with a skill point until you have earned all avaliable quest skill points. No more repeating the same questlines, as you'll discover countless stories and npcs, and have a new experience with every character you make. Please consider it, and let me know what you think down below.

No need for those skills points for most characters.

As a pvp'er that would be awesome. I settle with using the skill points I get from everything that isn't questing. Only my main character has almost all skill points, and he needs them because he's a master came after for everything and stuff

That's not so much the point though. When considering the freedom to explore, which the one tamriel update made priority, it pressures players, even if they only need one or two sp, to prioritize the main quest lines for the skill points. So you never really experience all of the game. This is especially true for new players, and in a way you're being punished for doing interesting side quests vs what you've already done on 10 plus other characters. If you don't feel that way, that's okay, but from my experience it tends to limit the fun of exploration and roleplay.

We don't need another 300-something skill points. Rework your idea. I like the part about making skill points easier to get (at least on alts) but hundreds of skill points is far too many.
The generally amicable yet sporadically salty magplar that may or may not have 1vXed you in Sotha Sil. Who knows?

I have at least 10 unused skill points on all of my 8 characters. A couple of them have 20+. Not necessary.

lol @ the wording of your poll. I'm not a robot but I don't like your idea.

If you need skill points outside of quests, every delve has a skyshard and every public dungeon has a skyshard plus a group event that awards a skill point...just hitting every delve and public dungeon will net you plenty of skill points.

Bad poll, as this the only No option.

There are WAY too many skill points in the game already. It's so easy to level an Alt now, you don't even need shards if your mail crafts. Totally not needed

This. I frequently level alts and I never feel like I have too few skillpoints, even without doing the main questlines for a zone or the main story.
If anything, skillpoints should be made more rare and thereby forcing you to choose where to spend them.

There's that horrible phrase again. "Forcing you" sounds dictatorial and flies in the face of what T1 is all about.

"until you have earned all avaliable quest skill points", basically however many skill points you can get now through questing would be the cap.

Biased poll is biased. Your poll is bad and you should feel bad!

It would make no sense to switch how you get the quest skill points. The skill points are awarded for quests which represent significant progression of the main storylines of each zone. If it was changed to what you suggest then you could go and do 3 random "go to this town and bring word to the guard there" quests or 3 random "fetch me my slippers" quests and get a skill point for doing absolutely nothing significant and having no impact on the major plots that are going on in Tamriel. That would be absolutely stupid.

Honestly I don't mind repeating the same quests on all my characters because then I can go back and find things that I may have missed. I always hate the feeling that I missed something.

I'm doing something wrong then. I have 50+ unused skill points on average.
