• NA megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 12:00PM EST (17:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for patch maintenance – December 17, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 17:00 UTC (12:00PM EST)
The issues on the North American megaservers have been resolved at this time. If you continue to experience difficulties at login, please restart your client. Thank you for your patience!
Error 200 issue continues even after support responses
I've had Error 200 issues since the Dark Brotherhood DLC came out.
So far I have:
-Made sure that any anti-virus/firewall protection has exception rules for The Elder Scrolls Online.
-Made sure the following ports are open on the networking device:
o TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
o TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
o TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
o TCP Port 80
o TCP Port 433
-Checked our Service Alerts page for details about the status of the game (I've long since stopped doing that)
Contacted support in July 21(160721-002284). That person had me provide to them my Game Consultant.
After I sent that, the person had me:
-update my graphics card drivers
-"refresh" my connection path by removing the "host.developer files which contain numbers only i.e. host.developer2, etc. (I still do this, not that it helps a lot)
I replied that these things still weren't helping and I never heard back. At this point it was August 30.
Submitted another ticket Sept 6 (160906-001844), got the standard reply Sept 12, which I replied to referencing the above ticket. Never heard back.
THIS PROBLEM CONTINUES.
It says something about either my stupidity or my dedication to the game that I go through 10-30 minutes of error 200s EVERY time I try to play. Day of the week doesn't matter. Time of day doesn't matter.
Having said all that, I'm going to go Error 200 for a while.
