More stamina benefits? Seriously? Looks like I definitely won't be touching ESO until Monday until the anniversary takes place for Maelstrom farming. More Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 here I come!

To everyone else? Enjoy the Viper rings being on sale and more horrible PvP experiences to come this weekend. Prepare for all of the 'skilled' players coming in with their proc-based sets, while also being ridiculously tanks. Endoursed and encouraged of course by ZOS, who believe all things are balanced with stamina reigning Number 1.

good thing though, BoE viper rings selling for millions, this is good to settle prices

12% increase in crit damage, 30% reduction in damage received, and a massive heal for 6 seconds is pretty insane. This is not from a PvE perspective if that's what you're thinking.

Was about to buy Gold Viper rings for 1.5mil as well. I'm in luck.

ZoS knows about the build. On Xbox NA the viper rings are BoP while the Senche rings are BoE.

they re doing this i suspect to undercut the outrageous prices of viper rings in the free guild market. but in doing so theyre creating more problems. encouraging proc sets like viper is one= by actively putting more of it into the game- theyre undercutting themselves.

i get that there are more stam players than mag players- its just the way it is. but even as a stam player- i want to see far more diversity in what we can get from the vendor. they should sell items that non-dlc players can't get for example. velidreth was a really good one.

See, you don't even know what you're talking about. Let me break down for you why this skill is such garbage for anyone to seriously slot. You clearly do not play Magicka so maybe this is why you think it is "pretty insane" despite probably not knowing what it looks like since no one slots it.


1) It is a 5 second HoT effect on self and one ally. That's it. Not even 6 seconds like you said. Resolving Vigor is just as useful and does not waste your Ultimate nor your Ultimate slot, along with providing a large AoE heal for allies.

2) If you wanted to cast an Ultimate for healing, you could simply use Barrier which passively buffs you with a stackable 10% Magicka Regen while slotted (huge) and shields entire raids. Barrier's morphs either grant a 30sec HoT effect or return tremendous amounts of Magicka and Ultimate.

3) No passives for slotting the Resto Ult. Better be worth it, right? Well it isn't. Yeah the visuals look cool, but I could tell a clueless player a mile away if I see this skill cast.

4) One morph grants Major Force (30%) for 5 seconds. Not Minor Force (12%), which is a buff that Stamina builds can maintain in fights with 100% uptime thanks to broken Stamina skill - Rearming trap. Critical damage in itself is also weak in PvP because it is negated by Impenetrable and shields.This morph is also useless in PvE as Aggressive Warhorn significantly outclasses it without even the slightest competition.

5) The second morph provides a miniature shield, HoT effect, and a bit of extra health on cast. It's pretty pathetic tbh with you.

If someone uses this Ult and they aren't a Trolling tank build in a 1v1, then you can assume they are dead as soon as the effect ends (5sec ). Anyone who has to burn their Ultimate on healing themselves either has no resources since they could not heal normally, are new to the game so they did not slot any other means of healing, or are players who are doing everything they can to truly make use of it but now lost out on their damage potential since they have 0 Ult left.

@Vaoh And yet, there are people on these very forums that will argue that magicka is on par with stamina. Lol. Some even complaining the destruction staff ultimate is too strong, when stamina has all types of wonderful ultimates that harmonize flawlessly.

This is exactly why I no longer take forum user input seriously, outside of you and a handful of people. It's also why I barely contribute nowadays via threads (outside of the last few threads I made being question oriented). Most people don't know what they're talking about, and just looking to argue and have conflict. While others seem to just believe saying, "L2P." and "L2Adapt." is constructive. Lmao. Meanwhile there's a very tiny percentage of people who actually have constructive input to add to the topic at hand, and are rather genuine and polite.

Just like the game, the forums are going downhill and fast.

Intentional... Sell the sets everyone is complaining about, get a lot of gold and ap taken back out of the game doing so... then wait for it... nerf those items, screwing everyone who wasted the saved gold/ap buying them.

And no, I do not own a tinfoil hat. Everybody knows that doesn't really work, it needs to be lead.

I don't consider magicka better than or even equal to stamina until we have more weapons that restore magicka.

Better watch out for that resto ult, it'll put ya in the ground. And that soulstrike man, not like holding block and popping a vigor will take care of that. It's one of the only skills in the game that can neutralize a stam build with shuffle, must be OP.

On another note, with the obvious ridiculousness of proc sets since 1T released, the fact that the gold jewelry is viper and yet another stam set is actually unreal. I guess I don't know why I'm surprised at this point, gg ZOS.

i question your skill level if you think restoration ultimate is good. let alone soul asaault which is decent at best.
