Could a regen build work?

So made a nord dk, and want to use heavy attacks as my main damage, while having massive amount of life regen/skills to help me live. So far it is ok, but I wonder how well it would do later on? I am using molten weapon for 40 percent more heavy attack. Green blood/ig shield combo. Using 2 hander for berserker ult/battle shout heal combo.

I wonder how strong of a solo build can this do? I would love to be able to solo the bosses on the map but I am getting wrecked so far.

    Lets be fair, a lot of this content is easy enough that you can light attack everything to death. There are sets that boost light and heavy attack damage, but as far as using stam weapons to drive heavy attacks as a main damage source... probably nothing that will preform even remotely well in group dungeons.

    There are heavy attack builds for lightning that work pretty well for a lot more content, but that is a byproduct of how lightning weapon attacks work and scale.

    Heavy attacks take from weapon damage, max Stam and crit severity. Also if solo you wanna make sure to use noxious breath on them to lower there resistances. I will say this, the heavy attack builds usually only work with lightning, but if you look into mephala and maybe sunder flame for more armor shearing. Amd if you are still laying down dots on top of your heavy attack it would do fair. A neat thing to do is heavy attack into uppercut. It looks thematically nice, the heavy attack empowers the wrecking blow which empowers the heavy attack. It would be nice with your build IMO. That with mephala coming off heavy attacks and sunderflame adding alot to your dps and the heal from twohander and using the two hand ultimate yo regain heth and stamina it would be neato IMO... I am trying to help you get a build that's in the spirit of what you are asking about. Feel free to.message me with anything.

    For me as a DD and magicka based flame dragonknight and a redguard ( :) ), a must have for ultimate is Magma Armor -> Magma Shell, because it lasts over 10 seconds granting literally immunity to all attacks. While having ~32k magicka and only 19k health, without much health regen I can solo many world bosses because I think I know how and when heal myself, block and avoid attacks.
    Main weapon destro lightning staff, secondary resto Staff with Healing Springs, Inhale -> Draw Essence - these abilities and tri-effect crafted potions usually save my skin when facing bigged dangers. Like some of the world bosses - I can solo but usually it takes a lot of time and nerves, sometimes I'm on the edge of death, and the ads are there usually respawning once more when I'm just finishing the boss.
    So imho it's not your health/health regen that will save you from bosses, but the HOT healing spells used in proper time and combination with other abilities.
    Also I use Molten Weapons for +40% heavy attack, which works great with heavy lightning Staff aoe attack.
    I was playing this character as stamina redguard dual wield / 1H&S but the survivability was poor, I had no Vigor and only healing from two DW abilities - now on pure magicka with staves it's way better.

    I think having massive amount of life regen typical for a tank is usually on a big expense of something else that might help in quick fights. Obviously it helps to survive but will elongate the fight if you focus mostly on heavy attacks.

    And... in a time I use Magma Shell Ultimate I usually deal as much damage as possible from main offensive abilities, then I switch to defensive bar and await another ultimate time to repeat that chain of damage. It works really nice, so consider this ultimate on yourself.

    Since he is Stam he should use corrosive armor it will up his DPS and make him unkillable. Corrosive makes it so you ignore resistances and you only take tiny damage and pulse out a poison dot. And yea use the troll King with this setup and your golden. If you have vigor that would also be ideal
