Lost somewhere in the main line quest, need help!!

Hey everyone

So after completing one of the main quest lines with my second character I stopped & started doing side quests, dungeons & PVP

Now, I have decided to come back & complete the main story line

However it seems like I don't remember where I am
I don't remember the last quest I did, nor the one that I should do

My journal does not have any of the main story line quests, so I don't really know where to go

The only thing I know is that all of the five companions are still alive & I did not choose yet to sacrifice anyone, which means that I still didn't complete the 'God of Schemes" quest which requires to sacrifice one of the 5 companions

But it still doesn't help as I don't know which quest I am on, I don't even get the Prophet to walk to me when I enter the city

Need some help please

Thank you

This is the main story quest line in correct order, they have to be completed in order to unlock the next in the chain. this is what i followed on my last run through.

    http://uk.ign.com/wikis/elder-scrolls-online/Coldharbour_Quests
If you click on each quest it gives more details/video's and locations

That's way more than just the main storyline; that also has most of the Coldharbour side quests too. UESP has all the Coldharbour quests split into Story and Side quests lists, if you want to focus on the story. Note however that many of the side quests provide more allies for the final battle - see Restoring the Hollow City for a breakdown.

To restore hollow city, you need to do 2 quests. One is located west from HC and there you will have to save some king dude from the past. After you have done that, he will take charge of Fighter's Guild. Then you will go east of HC and find and save this founder of Mage's Guild dude. After that, Groundkeepet that is Meridia will send you to the chasm.

I think I figured it out

There is a new quest chain in Coldharbour given by the Groundskeeper
It leads to the last quest of 'God of Schemes'

    Ok good, hope its true

You have to go through all of the Coldharbour Questline, fighting the Daedra with the Mages and Fighters Guilds, all the way to stopping the Planar Vortex. Once that's done and you've stopped the Plane Meld, THEN the Prophet will contact you about the final showdown with Molag Bal.

Did you do the quest to get the three rulers together on Stirk?

Have you done the quests in Coldharbour?

You have to finish that before the Prophet contacts you again.

I have surely done the one for the Stirk

Which quests in Coldharbour are u talking about?

I have some locations uncovered in Coldharbour, but I didn't restore the Hollow city, is it mandatory?

I have also cleared my whole quest log

Get the addon called "Destinations" (esoui.com), go to the settings under Quest Givers...and select ONLY the Main Quest. It will put only the quest giver of the next Main Quest giver on your map and compass. When you're done, turn it off or configure the addon to your requirements.

This. You can be sure you didn't miss any side quests too if you let it show you all quest givers.

Ok, unrelated, but I have to know. Your reply is #5, but you are quoting his comment #8. What brand is your time machine, and did you buy it directly or order it online?

Marking posts as an "Answer" breaks the numbering of comments, as all the "Answers" are moved to the top and everything gets renumbered. (IMO, it should move the post, but keep the original numbering.)
