Desto Staff Ultimate is Still Bugged

Is anyone else still experiencing problems with this? I thought it was addressed, but it is still unusable for me. Once I cast it, I lose the ability to medium weave altogether, and my light weaves become much more inconsistent. The staff will still fire, but the skill that follows simply wont work. The only solution I have found is a reload. As it stands now, I cannot run this in trials, which is a darn shame. I have even tested this with (cough cough) macros just to see what would happen, and the result is the same. In other words, it's not my weave. If anyone has any insight, I would love to hear it.

Also, if anyone chimes in and says that weaving is an exploit, I will lose my mind. Weaving is required in competitive trials, and to suggest otherwise is just ignorant.

He may be, but I know a couple people that claim that anyone that uses any form of animation canceling is a cheater.

Towards the point OP, is it every time you cast it? at random? in cyrodiil?

It happens every single time. I happens in VMOL (and the staging area). I have also tested in several random zones just to see if it was specific to the instance. There seem to be a period of about a week between maintenance patches a little while back where it seemed to work, but it is broken again.

If weaving is an exploit, then exploitation is required to clear certain content. There is no way you could clear VMOL if your DPS didnt weave. Ill pay 100k gold to anyone that can prove that statement is false.

hmm now that you say it, i recall having a hard time weaving after casting the ult when dueling. Like really awkward timing an some light attacks or pulse attacks would fire on time or at all.

maybe get out of your own aoe and snare things inside with a streak? idk...

Ugh, get a grip. By definition weaving is not an exploit. It cannot be an exploit if ZOS condones it. Some peoples' children...

@Oreyn_Bearclaw I concur that it's a bit buggy. It hasn't been consistently an issue for me, but it does happen periodically. I don't have the source to confirm, but I believe it was acknowledged at some point. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before it's fixed.
