Is viper sting bow dropping in FG after 1 Tamriel?

I know it exists, I've had people link it to me in game. I've run FG dungeons about 30x and I've seen several daggers swords and all sorts of armor, no one in group has ever found a bow.

Would like to PVE with it. Can anyone verify they've got one in dungeon drop since 1 Tamriel or are all those in circulation leader board awards? I've verified I can proc bonus with bow already.

I procced it last week on light attack and poison injection in PVE with bow.

Not that mic is a troll or full of it but such people exist - anyone else get one?

I need to know this. I've run this thing so many times to get this bow and not 1 has dropped for me or anyone in my group. This is going on my 60th run now.

Yeah despite rare rare reports to the contrary I believe they do not drop. At this point I'd have to see it to believe it. So very few claim it and use it, which could be exlained by it being obtained in trials, my mind is nearly made up. The few people I've run with who thought they got one have never been able to link it - oops turns out it's a different set when they check.

Even if its exist, proc on bow attacks is a bug, farming it is just a waste of time as it will be fixed for sure.

My guild has been trying to get one since forever.

They existed before OT and were BoE, that is why you can still find them on some Guild Traders. I found one for 1.5 mil on Xbox NA, but couldn't buy it.

But, from our experience in the guild, with dozens of players doing hundreds of FG I runs to get this bow, I believe they do not drop anymore.

Bows shouldn't proc Viper, so I guess that is because of the "smart loot" thing, since in theory, this fits the concept that "the weapon can not possible proc the 5th bonus".

But everyone wats it to have at least the 4th bonus on the back bar...

Also, there are a few classes that can main hand it and still proc, due to some class abilities being melee.

Its a known bug that viper procs from some ranged attacks so exploit it at your own risk.

This has been my experience as well.

Which annoys me since some classes can proc with class abilities.

And why in the world would they not disable the ones that already exist along side making it not drop, is beyond me. It would be super easy code wise to change all viper bows to not be part of the set, while they implement a fix.

You're better off getting you a master bow for your pvp back bar anyway, so try to farm that. Viper is overrated in my opinion, no skill needed, boring proc set.

Actually, for my situation the importance of the viper bow would be the fact that it does NOT proc in certain situations while still being able to main hand it to proc on melee use.
