ESO Launcher Broken

After I started the Launcher today (Monday 31 October 2016) it patched the game client.
When it completed the patch, the space for the PLAY button was empty.
I don't recall whether it initially displayed PAUSE in that space while the patch was downloaded and installed.
So I exited the Launcher, ran it again, and the PLAY button was displayed (it works okay).
When will you folks quit fixing things that are not broken?? When will you ever get it right the first time??
