Prosperous should be prosperous.

Here is how.

Item description:

Increases all the stats of this item by (x)%

Make the X a balanced number, and make it scale to resistances, enchantment and set bonuses.
A balanced number for prosperous would of course have a lower % than reinforced and infused since it buffs all of em at once, and it would not render reinforced and infused useless.

You could kind of compare it to how the tristat glyphs in the game work.

I've thought on this for a looooong time, and this is the best idea that I came up with.

    Which means that infused may still be better in some builds where you stack resources, same with reinforced for a tank, and then this new prosperous would be better in other kinds of setups.

    Procs dont need a buff, enough bad players are gods now.

    Increase chance of double items and increase chance of quality during harvesting, opening sack and chest. Gold=7% per piece. Increase gold return from mobs and quest. Gold=15% per piece.

    Yeah, PvP procs do need a nerf.

    But don't forget, there is a lot that kind of buffs the procs already. Divine can give it higher crit chance, CP gives it higher damage, penetration gives it higher output and the list goes on.

    I'm under the impression that prosperous how I suggested it wouldn't make procs stronger since it will give u flat stat (no buff to proc) and armor (no buff to proc) and such a small % set boost that u end up with about the same proc dmg.

    Wouldn't you agree?

    Hmmm, I have a better suggestion:
    Prosperous: Increase chance of gold from mobs + chests + increased resources from resource nodes.
    Training: Extra XP from killing mobs, high chance of extra loot dropping from all mobs (good for raising gold & craft skills for new players & for grinding dungeons for specific items).

    Should be more utility and quality of life traits. Nothing will beat the current top 4, divines/sturdy/impen/sharp.

    Hmmm, I have a better suggestion:
    What if were recast as flourishing, giving x% chance of a double drop on any item? So maybe you get two nirn with the cp perk and then flourishing could double that, giving a total of four nirn harvested. Double ap, to help cut the grind down for those who want caltrops etc, but dislike pvp. Double the chance rate of getting gold tempers while refining, see a columbine and maybe get one, two or four! I don't know about double gear drops, but the chance of getting two rings drop from a dungeon, well I'd give it a chance!

    I don't buy mats off of guild stores, but I have to agree the price of mats is insane since the crafting bag. Having a set of gear like this could cut down on farming time for players that dislike farming mats, but don't like or can't afford to buy from the guild stores. I'm not saying it's on par with divines, but it would have some functionality beyond deconning as it stands now.

    Obviously it would need strict guidelines on what it affected, but I'm just thinking on paper here.

    Hmmm, I have a better suggestion:
    Raising percent of gained gold would be okay. Now impenetrable is better, cause you pay less for armor repair, I saw some math about this. But if percent was bigger, nobody wouldn't became too rich and prosperous would have a sense.
    Or it should work with selling things to merchant. I would like that.

    prosperous should be a trait that buffs all farming and harvesting node odds, whether its opening a chest or mining for ore. it should improve odds and harvest hauls. so that if you were wearing a full set of prosperous while say, looking for flowers and mushrooms in deshaan- you would yield more mushrooms.

    further- in pvp zones- when wearing a prosperous you are given small chance of looting opposing player's gold or weapons. perhaps not taking something precious from him- otherwise people wouldnt wear anything- but perhaps clone something that they have...
    i think if that were the case this set would go from reviled to actually desired.

    ok then that would be exploited and players would use it to clone and exploit ovefrarm.

    i havent thought about this for a longtime.

    I would love to have a trait that can make gear bonus better. For exemple: Briarheart gives you 490 weapon damage when it procs. With this new trait it could go up 10℅ maybe.

    or what prosperous could do is- when your wearing a full set of prosperous armour- and opening an undaunted chest- it allows you open the chest- rummage thru the 90 percent of *** already in there and throw it at Mal, until you find a divines.

    or maybe when wearing prosperous and when say - farming bangkorai for spriggans- it allows you to see drop odds of certain areas.

    honestly they've got to make prosperous a freaking superpower in order to make it appealing .

    they need to do that with all the other traits. its boring for the players and boring for the game when all anyone wants is divines or impen , and maybe infused as a compromise. ALL traits should be equally interesting and appealing and represented in the game,

    other than nirnhoned- which needs to be buffed a bit to make it the most appealing- otherwise whats the point of all the work to attain it.
