Disconnected & Now Can't Get Back In

Since the last maintenance there have been several times that I or someone in my group or guild has been kicked to desk top & then have problems getting back into the game. Sometimes logging into another character that isn't in Cyrodiil works other times that doesn't even work & I have to wait it out. Any suggestions & please someone fix this!
