Destroyed Social Fishing Location after One Tamriel update

This issue happened some time ago but I thought it's worth posting because I personally do not understand why the 3 Greymist Falls Crawler fishing holes in Stonefalls have had their respawn rate reduced to 'barely existent.' The location is no longer a viable place for players to obtain the rare foul water fish for the Stonefalls fishing achievement, which for some people can be a real struggle to complete. Personally, I had to use over 400 crawlers at that exact location before I caught the Scum Carp trophy fish as part of my master fisher achievement. Members of my fishing guild have literally fished for days (in a group) there before catching one. Right now you would be lucky to find a fishing hole there at all.
People were able to fish all day at this location prior to the one tamriel update as the respawn rate of the fishing holes was very fast. This provided a known social fishing spot for like-minded people to meet very early in their game experience, I have made some really good friends at the location but now it's dead and there's no reason to even go there.
The biggest problem that I have with this game-changing alteration is that group fishing areas are extremely rare, but there are a few that still exist and I would hate to see the same thing that happened to Greymist Falls happen to the others too. It doesn't make sense to restrict one of the rare places in the game where people can enjoy group fishing because it's what they like to do.

@ZOS_GinaBruno this is by no means any type of priority, but it's worth noting. It was really sad for a lot of people to lose this fishing spot, I didn't see any mention of fishing hole spawn rate changes in the one tamriel patch notes so I really hope it can return to the way it was someday in the future.

ntheogenic✭✭✭✭✭I did not go fishing lately.. but if I remember correctly all fishing holes of the same type are part of a "pool". They usually have a rather high respawn timer, unless someone has depleted all fishing holes of that type in the zone.
On some maps there are very few fishing holes of a certain type. If they are all located in the same area then they will seem to respawn almost instantly. However that should not be (and should never have been) the case in Stonefalls.
According to my notes foul water fishing spots can be found at least here:- Greymist Falls
- East of Hrogar's Hold
- Sulfur Pools
- Around Armature's Upheaval
- West of Daen Seeth Dolmen (coast)
Not sure why Greymist seemed special to you - unless it was bugged and maybe fixed now ?

Still very relevant the big issue is that Greymist falls used to have 3 crawler fishing holes that could only be fished out completely if there were 4 or more people fishing at the location. It was the only location in EP with 'almost' unlimited fishing.
DC has unlimited worm & guts fishing locations that can easily support 4 players fishing, but since the one tamriel update EP now has no group fishing location in their alliance territory. AD has never even had one to my knowledge, it would be nice for developers to share the love and provide AD with an unlimited river fishing location. River is the only water type that I haven't been able to find an unlimited fishing spot for, not having one has had a negative effect on the value of insect parts bait with all the farming for new alchemy ingredients.
Cyrodiil has unlimited fishing spots, Wrothgar has both unlimited crawler & worm fishing; they provide more fish per minute than Greymist falls ever did. I just don't understand why one of the better group fishing locations in the game has had the fishing hole respawn rate restricted... Doesn't make any sense to me

Used to have 'almost' unlimited fishing before one tamriel.
Was the only group fishing location with a cooking fire next to it for crafting legendary recipes straight after obtaining perfect roe (or for making fishy sticks to sell to a nearby merchant).
Heavy sacks, Runes, Alchemy reagents, Ore, Backpacks, Humans for feeding Vampires, Thieves Troves, World boss, nearby Merchant, the location (was) in my opinion; the best resource fishing location in the entire game.
One tamriel would have made the location even better by providing an experience bonus for higher level players & duels to give the fishing folk something to watch. Very saddening that this was never able to happen at Greymist Falls, fingers crossed that the fishing hole respawn rates return back to the way they used to be.Edited by SamboJ on October 30, 2016 6:14AM"Chasing elder scrolls since 2002."
