All outside influences such as healing, buffs, etc. from other player characters will be blocked when a duel begins, and will last for the duration of the duel.
This isn't true.
We tested it out and outside influences (Spell Power Cure, Healing Wards, Shards, Igneous Weapons, Breath of Life etc) are not blocked from people who aren't in a duel themselves.

We then tested to see if two separate duels can affect each other but that didn't work so it's only bystanders.
I've no idea if it's location specific or what but we were just standing near a dolmen.0
