Need help with a nightblade build

Hello all,

I need help with a build, I already know what build I'm going for but what items or abilites should i equip?

I'm going for a Tank DPS build.

If you're talking about DLC, I play Orsinium and Imperial City. I mostly PvE too

i'm talking normal, vet, endgame, hardmode, pve, pvp, etc

i ask this because in endgame pve you're either a tank or a dps, a middle ground is not needed
in easy vet/normal what i do is use my dps spec and put vigor and taunt on and that will work 9/10 times

Like Lashiing said, you can be either Tank or DPS, but not both (at the same time).

On my Stam Blade I'm setup to do dps with one gear/skill set, then with a swap of gear and skills I can tank. If your looking to do that I can give some suggestions.

I don't have all the info in front of me but this is the overall setup.

Tanking:
5 Pieces Footman 5 Pieces Hist Bark, 2 Engine Guardian. Sword/Shield for both weapon slots.
Bar1: Vigor, Inner Fire (stam morph), Shades or Caltrops, Relentless Focus, Refreshing Path, Veil of Blades or Warhorn
Bar2: Ambush, Pierce Armor, Siphoning Attacks, Surprise Attack, Defensive Stance, Soul Harvest.

DPS:
5 Pieces Hundings Rage, 1 Molag Kena, 3/4 Night Mothers Gaze (bow/Dual Wield), Agility Jewerly
Bow Bar: Arrow Barage, Poison Injection, Siphoning Attacks, Relentless Focus, Caltrops/Trap Beast, Meteor or Dawnbreaker
DW Bar: Ambush, Surpise Attack, Steel Tornado, Killers Blade, Power Extraction, Soul Harvest

For tanking I run caltrops unless someone else is, then I switch to Shades.
DPS I use caltrops on trash mobs and Rearming Trap on boss fights.
If I'm playing solo, I use the DPS setup but swap some bow skills so I have vigor and/or reapers mark for the heals.

Hm, alright, thanks for your help! I'll try Slayers build, thanks! And Lashiing im playing at vet pve.
