Gear question

Currently planning a stamina tank. Reached lvl 50 yesterday. Now the gear dilemma. I was thinking in using armor master but did some calculations and adding up my current ressisstance (20668), plus the passive from the 3rd & 4th armor master set (1935) plus the immovable skill (5280) and the 5 piece bonus for activating armor skill (5332), all this sums up to 33,215 ressisstance to both spell & armor ressisstances.

Im over the cap by 1,215 pts. I myself do not consider it too bad and think that armor master might work out for me. What you guys think? Or should I get a different gear to tank?

    You can run two 5 piece sets now, since we have Jewelry on dropped sets. So hitting the cap with one set just means you can be more flexible with your other set of armor with stats, weight, bonuses etc.

    The fact that your over the cap a little is not a big deal, so don't worry about it. With the cap, you hit 50% mitigation, so you still get some damage reduction being over the cap. But, again, the flexibility of using the one set to allow you to use another (Beekeeper for Health Regen as an example) or something that adds to your Spell Resist, which is probably more important overall than Physical Resist.
    Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

    @Nestor
    Thanks for the info Nestor, always so helpful. I've decided to go with 5 armor master, 3 endurance & 4 redistributor. I wanted to go 4 willows path but Im not sure because the regen numbers don't seem so high so they do not convince me at all. I just feel safer with attribute boos vs recovery boost. I could try to use hundings rage or night mothers gaze to improve my damage but it doesn't improve much. Did the math.

    That's to start, gear farming it's not my thing while the double set does sound nice trying to get those 2 pieces with the right traits seem like quite a way. not to mention dropped gear is already in a style that might not be the prettiest and I do like to make my builds look cool
