Any help with my nightblade???

I have been playing this game for about a year now and my first character was a stamina nightblade. I like the playstyle but I have always seemed like they lack a lot of flexibility. I wear all impen and then I have 30 cp into resistant and it still only takes like 5 hits to kill me even though I'm doing my best to heal through the damage in medium armor. About a week ago I started rage quitting after this update because of how many people wear heavy armor and I cannot kill them. Everyone is a tank/dps/healer in this game at this point and I feel like I'm running around on a character that has no purpose unless it does what every other nightblade does and be a walking tumor in Cyrodiil. I liked medium armor but I can't mess around like that anymore. Every player I run into is like a brick wall that hits like a truck meanwhile I can take no damage whatsoever. So instead I use black rose to be super cancerous, viper for burst then tremorscale for even more aids.

I had 36k max stamina with 2000 recovery and 3k weapon damage.

Aside from that is it even possible to be skillful wearing a build that requires skill while everybody is wearing broken proc sets like malubeth and the newer proc sets? I know a guy that is really skillful and has beat vma on flawless on all of his characters except he fell to the corruption too by wearing the meta. I don't think he cares anymore either.

I want the game to go back like 6 updates ago when things were a lot more simple and we did not have all these insanely cancerous builds. Why did they have to add all these completely broken sets that are so disturbing and then call it "Balance"???

I'm in the same boat my friend but I love my medium armour too much to loose it so I've put as much penetration as I can through weapons and armour as well as cp which has helped greatly in pvp but still have to be careful with taking damage

"Be careful taking damage" I try as hard as I can. I really really do but the mechanics of the game don't allow me to.
