Shalk Set doesn't drop combat

Help! I've been stuck in ESO for days because I can't drop combat and you can't logout while in combat!
Seriously though. You literally do not drop combat (at least in Cyrodiil) while wearing the Shalk set. This means you cannot mount, logout, or even unequip the dang thing. Only solution is to die when not in combat.
