Could I get some quick tips for taking DK to 50 before event ends?

I've been using the exp bonus from the halloween event to get one of each job to 50 to automatically cap into my cp points. I got some great advice when I was doing this for my breton Templar, and just hit 50 this morning.

With only a few days left, I'd like to atleast get a good start on DK. My issue is that I don't really know much about the class.

I'll most likely be respec'ing at some point after hitting 50, so I'm basically looking for a good offensive, fun, surviveable build for getting to 50 without allocating too many skill points.

I have a great set of level 10/35 EXP training armor ready to go, so I just looking at basic things like best or recommend race, weapon styles, etc..

There are some great guides out there on the forum and in other places about end-game roles and gear, but right now I'm just looking for the basics.

Thanks

If you are trying to quickly grind to 50, the class doesn't really matter.

Just unlock AOEs as soon as you can (wall of elements, pulsar for magicka or steel tornado for stamina). While grinding keep putting different skills on your bar to level up all the weapon and class skill lines. Wear all training gear, ideally upgraded to purple, and use psijic ambrosia, with at least 1 piece of each light, heavy and medium.

If you are on PC/NA you can leach off me if you want. I've been spending a lot of time grinding champion points. I won't be on till around 6pm est time but I have a few good grinding spots that will make you level fast. If you do grind with me, just worry about leveling your skill lines.

Just a warning it will be boring but you will level fast.

Also just to let you know the event was extended till Nov. the 8th.

Contact me in game if you want @vamp.emily

If you want a friend, get a dog.

Awesome, didn't know event was extended...that should help out. I'm on X1/NA so won't be able to leach...lol, but thx for offer.

I realize it doesn't matter to much to begin with as far as leveling, but I just don't want to pick a race that's useless for the job, or to start putting points into stam, if mag is the way to go.

The stamina build seems to be very similar to my NB, so I'll probably go with the Mag build suggested by Deltia.

Get burning talons, engulfing flames and wall of elements. Those 3 are all you need to aoe mobs for a mDK

Here's one Idea. I'm using on my new L50 MagPlar.

If you can kill and quest/grind successfully with only one Skills bar. Set the second bar up with several of the skills for the tree you want to level.

On that second bar open any of the skills that you want to morph or need to level the morph.

Kill normally while using the 1st bar, but if doing any questing, turn in the quest only on that second bar. The more skills you have from a tree on the bar, the more total XP goes to that specific tree.

With Witches and ESO+ plus enlightenment I was seeing 150K+ Quest turn in XP. I have all my major spell trees for DW/Destro maxed on that Magplar and now just need to max my Resto Staff and Restoration Tree.

And now I have until the 8th of Nov to finish, Thanks ZOS.

The only thing this doesn't add any more to is CP grind, once that enlightenment is gone its back to 300K+ XP to CP and the Quest XP is back to ~10-30K.
