If you have 4 pieces of Armor Master on your body but have a Armor Master 2h on the back bar. Will it still give you the buff from the 5 piece if you activate a armor ability on the 2hbar?

    While you're on that bar, you'll get the 5 piece. When you swap to your other weapon, you will lose the 5 piece.

    You will maintain the buff but you won't get the 5%? health bonus. Tbh if this is for PvE Armor Master is not good as it seems, there are better sets - that is unless you are running a light/medium AM build.

    If you activate an armour skill on the non-5pc bar, you won't get the buff if you switch to the 5pc bar. If you activate the skill on the 5pc and then switch to the other, the buff will remain in place

    @Ajaxduo
    I was planning on using this full set combined with 4 piece hist bark for my tank, hes running full heavy armor. Is there a better set than this one? I'd appreciate a few suggestions!

    Resistance cap is roughly 32.5k? I believe, if you factor in what buffs are available to you based on your class then you can plan around what pieces you should take. I'm running Tava's Favor, Akaviri Dragonguard, 2 pc Agility, a 2 pc undaunted and only my sword is defending and shield reinforced and with major buffs I sit at just shy of 32k in both physical and spell resistances. There are unconventional builds where AM will still benefit you a lot, like light armor tank builds but tbh I never see the point in it. But in this case with back baring AM sure, it works. I've done it before but it was a bit overkill on resistances in my experience :D
