So while the server kept restarting I kept trying to log in. After a while i noticed that I had 60 hireling mails, even after the server got back up.
I already took 1 of each mail, but have not yet opened the other ones.
So my question is:
Should I go ahead and open them all? Or would that be considered bug abuse?
I really want to empty my mail box though

You should be fine. ZOS has had trouble with mail delivery before and as far as i know nobody got ever banned for it.
I have 3 copies of all my imperial edition/explorer pack stuff because ZOS kept resending those mails.
