6 to 12 PC Sets with bonuses

I know the norm currently is are set bonuses up to 5 PC's. This results in a popular mix and match of two 5 pc sets, etc. I'm not very happy with the results of people wearing two full 5 pc proc sets in PvP currently and it got me to thinking about set bonuses beyond 5.

I would love for a new DLC to add a new armor set (possibly 9 trait needed to craft) with set bonus' up to 8 traits. Those upper traits would have to be strong to counter the loss of the other pieces you might mix with them. Could be interesting.

While I can't say I see the point to that, I do think they should have some 4 piece sets to accommodate 2hand users. As it stands, there's quite a large advantage to running dual wield or s&b just for the extra set piece as it allows 5x5x2

I just want them to loop around so I can run 10/5 vicious death and do 50k damage to zergs by hitting some poor < 160 CP potato.

I may be able to get behind this if done correctly. Better yet, just make 2h weapons count as two set pieces. It's stupid enough that DW has so many benefits over staves for casters.

I'm not opposed to a two handed weapon (TH/Bow/Staff) to count as 2pcs of a set.

It would be interesting to see set bonuses beyond 5 as it may make committing to a large number of your pieces (7 or more) for one set, you get a significant bonus. Could make mixing and matching more interesting.

Yep, I'd sign off as 2hand counting as 2 pieces as well, although they might then need to require more crafting mats to "gold".

That's a valid point as well.

I'd be happy if they threw back to morrowind and let us have left and right ahoulder and left and right gauntlet it would allow 2 more gear slot peices and wouldnt break the game as that's only 9 armor parts so players couldn't capitalize on two full 5pc armor passives like wrath constitution agility etc. But it would end some of the two hander gripes and allow new build and gear layouts
