So I am a magicka sorcerer with a pet build. I am running destro and destro with 2 peice kena and 5 necropentence with3 willpower.Is that ok to beat VMA? I have never done it before but I need to do it for the staffs.So what gear/skills should I use?

I tried it with a pet build and it was pretty annoying. Switch necro out for julianos and the heals from crit surge were enough to keep me alive if I forgot to recast ward

Then I got to the last boss and was stuck on him for a couple of hours (I play stamblade pretty easily in vma so playing a sorc was new to me)

Put on necropotence instead of julianos there and did him first try

I would recommend the morph of force shock called crushing shock which interupts the enemy if they're casting (helps a lot with the final boss especially) Liquid lightning, elemental blockade, frags are nice for nuking enemies

Overload is also still pretty reliable
