I have been playing this game for about a year and a half now, but i only ever used dragonknight and nightblade for my characters. As far as dragonknight goes for Pvp, for me, i could never really make a good build for it, so I mainly use it as a PvE character. My nightblade has been pretty decent in PvP, but I mainly created it because it was a bit popular a while back. Now I am seeing many sorcerers and templars in Cyrodiil, which leads me to the question being: are these two classes best for PvP? I know a number of factors go into controversial topics like these, such as build, race, sets, and how good you really are in PvP. I understand that a player can't win every battle, but does anyone have any characters, class, etc. that are are optimal for PvP, primarily AP accumulation? I was thinking of making a templar with radiant destruction and biting jabs and such for dps, and also a few self and group healing. I am not really sure how the sorcerer builds work. Again, I know that these topics have a lot of answers and is very broad, but what build and class do you use to get the most ap possible? This is ultimately being asked because i plan on doing another chance at emp. I have many good times with my nightblade, twice i was on the top for about a day and a half, but my faction never captured the keeps. Other times if i put my mind and time to it, i get top 5 or 10. i know healing plays a big part in acquiring ap, also dps for killing and surviving against other players.
For my nightblade, i have been using primarily a healing staff for self and group healing, as i am unaware of any nightblade skills outside restoration that can do that, and dual wield for dps. so i am pretty much a damage and healer player in PvP. I have been also using transmutation and vicious death for increase health magika, spell critical, resistance, etc. Let me know your thoughts!
