DPS and CP requirements for veteran trials? - Stamina Nightblade

SwordOS
SwordOS
Hello. I'm a cp340 stamina nightblade with an average of 23-24k dps on bloodspawn without potions or buffs. I completed all veteran hardmode dungeons (except for CoS and RoM hardmode) and I feel I have nothing left to do in endgame pve. (Already got kr'agh and velidreth set from daily dungeons). I hate maelstrom arena since it is too hard and, mainly, because it's a solo content and loot is randomized, so I don't want to start it. I'd want to try a simple veteran trial, such as hel ra or aetherian archive. How many cps should I wait for? How much dps do I need? Are vMA weapons needed for a veteran trial?

In my guild there is one condition.
The DD who wants to join a Veteran Trial has to have Vet Maelstrom completed.

    Only completition? Are weapons necessary?

The requirements are based on the person forming the group and can vary. Some may make you link your maelstrom completion and have best in slot weapons. Others might accept cp160+ with 25k dps. You may be able to provide enough group synergy that you can fill your role without needing maelstrom weapons.

Personally, if I'm putting a group together for vet Hel Ra, non hard mode, I wouldn't ask for much more than 25k+ bloodspawn dps and the ability to listen in voice chat and be a good contributing member who doesn't fall over in every red circle that spawns. That particular trial is probably the easiest vet and can be very easy with members that avoid red circles well. The only real dps check is on the Warrior himself and honestly even a group of 20k+ dps will get him down before he enrages if you're not stopping to rez people all the time.

I call it "Verticality Training" If you're constantly taking a horizontal dirtnap in the very easy to avoid red during the Warrior fight, you've failed.
