Its very cool to see stories like that. The Xbox community is sometimes a little loud :) but is also quite helpful.

how cute! He obviously won the lottery on Dungeon Groups, that day :D
Although I know that it happens, I still don't understand how some people can be mean to a kid.

I still don't like children playing mature games but that was a nice read.

so long as the kid is mature and does not take what happened in game as plausible in real life i am fine. I have been playing rated M games since i was 7, i am now 29. Do not get me wrong i avoid public lobbies on gta because well i SWEAR the amount of times i hear the N word in a single breath from some of these kids is quite scary.

My son has also been playing M content since a young age. But not all types. He started with Halo I was selective about what he could do. But he understands the difference between fantasy and reality and doesn't translate all of it into real life.

However, a 10 year old shouldn't be playing GTA, etc :) unless your just letting them drive around or something without missions.

Fully agree. My son started playing at 3. I come home and I saw him sitting there with this huge big grin on his face playing Daddy's game. I was so amazed he could turn on the TV, select the AV settings to the 360, and play the game. Sad thing? He saved over a 250+ hour Morrowind game. I finally taught him, Click (hit the A button) top line, don't touch the next line don't touch the next line and don't this line. Basically he only touched New Game or Load Game.

That said, he also played Fallout 3 as well. Why? Because what the kids were saying on the school grounds was a lot worse. He also played Halo as well. I was so proud of him when he told me "Daddy they were swearing so I turned the volume off because that was bad things they said".

Still will not let him play GTA5 or what now even though he is 15 now. Nothing wrong in playing mature games, it's how they and the parent handles it. I would like to think we handled it pretty good. :)
Not my quote but I love this saying

"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
