Grim Harlequin - Make Grinstones dropable

The awesome crafting style Grim Harlequin is currently in the Crown Store together with 52 Mimic Stones as a bundle. What bothers me anyway is that after crafting with those 52 Mimic Stones you are damned to deconstruct some items crafted to get the style material 'Grinstones' to craft more (or purchase more mimic stones).

Since we've already paid 2200 crowns for the style why are we urged to pay more?
Please consider adding the Grinstones as a possible drop ingame.
For example the new "madness in ..."-dailies would fit perfectly since it is related to Uncle Sheo.

The weapons in that motif are really nice ... can't give the Art Department enough credit for all the things they do.

Agree, it would be nice to farm the style stones.

I might even be willing to tolerate RNG in Uncle Sheo's quest reward coffers (the only time I would tolerate such a thing).

    Here's why. $$$$$

They purposely made the motif cheap with the stones. They're banking on the fact that once it's gone you'll have to purchase additional stones if you want to craft said motif.

It's gonna be the same once new life hits and the the other motif is on the shop. Cheap, with stones but no material drops in game.

    ^This,

it makes mimic stones actually relevant, and not just a "oh i need a couple because i dont want to decon mindlessly for the styles" mindset.

Expect to see this alot more.

And why isn't it called Grin Harlequin if the style material is grinstone?

Grinstones for Grim Harlequin is like saying you need snox to make a snowman.

If i didn't have to use mimic stones to craft I would totally buy this. Bad move, ZOS.

    Please change!

Too late; Frostcaller (Stalhrim) is already slated for New Life Festival.

To be fair, for every purchase of the motif you get almost 5 dozen mimic stones. Use them solely for this style's material and there is really no shortage. On top of that, all other motifs from the Crown Store give some stones along with them too.

Grinstones actually can be bought from some vendors.
5k or even lesser per piece - not that big ammount of gold

Frostcaster (aka Stalhrim) is the next Crown Store Exclusive motif slated for Christmas/New Years time, meaning the New Life Festival event.

The style material is called "Stalhrim".

We will likely see the same pattern, where you must purchase it for Crowns and only can craft pieces using Crown Mimic Stones or Stalhrim obtained through deconning items of this style.

    No. That will never happen.

We already know of Vvardenfell, Murkmire, Clockwork City, and Mephala's Realm.

Nothing has ever been announced (nor datamined) teasing a possible Solstheim zone. Please don't make these things up because people will be quick to believe it!

Your best bet for totally new, unfound/unannounced DLC is Southern Black Marsh, Northern Skyrim, and Central Summerset Isle. I base that purely off of the current areas on the world map that are totally empty :)
