Cyrodiil/IC Lag Hiccups

With less players in Cyrodiil, I expected less lag. Unfortunately, the lag is the same but now has taken on a different characteristic that I call "lag hiccups". The screen freezes for a split second every couple of seconds for a certain amount of time and multiple times. It's ridiculously annoying. Can we please go back to just regular lag? I don't think I can dare ask for no lag. Is this a known issue and when/if can we expect a fix? #CureCyrodiilicHiccups
