i play on Scourge/ps4/na – around 11pm pst Thursday, Oct 20 got to watch a DC player take the scroll from DC controlled Chalman keep and deliver it to AD controlled Black Boot…
i’ve read about this – in my naivety, I never really expected to ever see something like this though…
ethics wise – I know there are some people out there in the world (by extension the game we love and share) pretty low within the whole ethical food chain…still, it was pretty disappointing to see (my blood pressure was shooting through roof )…
i can’t think of any way to prevent it in the future (my feeling is – this isn’t exact a prime time behavior…were it prime time – there would have been enough DC players to escort that particular player “stealing” the scroll and kill any AD players trying to receive the scroll)…as is there was only about five of us, and, I think one or two of those may have been this particular scroll stealers friends (what a happy and fulfilling relationship that must be)…
sure you can make it so that a player can only have one set of alliance characters within a campaign – but, that won’t stop the whole quid pro quo between friends whom happen to have characters in different alliances within the same campaign…
anyways – for those of you whom were already aware of this stuff, no surprise I’m sure…for those folks whom only heard of it – yeah, sadly enough, it happens…
