Error 200 (7:4:426:597)

Tried logging in this AM, launcher does not load news, announcements do not load on login screen. FORUMS will not load from my computer, my wife's, OR my phone. I'm typing this out on my phone using cellular data. When connected to wifi, the forums will not load....

I haven't found any1 here having the same issue. My guild mates are logged in and chatting is discord with no issues logging in or accessing the forums. BUT I know it's not just me now, another guildy popped into discord with the same exact issue.

Pls help!

Could this be related to the DDos attacks Ibe been reading about? Elder Scrolls Online is on the list of websites affected by the attacks.

It is a result of the DDoS on Dyn. If you route through a VPN service with Full Dns you can still login.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately that's beyond my level of savvy...

Definitely related to the dyn DDoS. I couldn't connect through my ISP's DNS resolver, however using Open DNS's resolver works for me.

Very good idea! Forgot about Open DNS :)

As of now, my Issue is RESOLVED.

I'm assuming I have Dyn to thank for mitigating the DDoS as quickly as they did? LOL.
I guess I'll just take this as a reminder that the interwebz that we rely on are indeed fragile...

I have 2 ISP's and had to switch to be able to connect last night. Hope it's fixed today so I can use my fast connection again.

I believe yours is a separate issue. Yesterday, I could not even get to a load screen, and I'm fairly certain it was related to the large DDoS attack that his certain things. It resolved itself as Dyn was able to mitigate the damage from the attack.

They said the problem had been solved, but I still can't log into the game and neither launcher loads the news and loggin screen any information.

    2 days now.

Same here. I tried contacting "Support", which told me to add firewall exceptions and forward a bunch of ports on my router, as if I was trying to play the game for the first time. I don't believe the issue is on my end, since I was able to play normally last Thursday (Oct 20th). Nothing changed on my network configuration.

Me too. It's always the same thing. There is nothing wrong with "our" internet connection. The problem is with them or with "DDOS all around attackers". Why those people waste their time with game companies? They should try to attack NASA or something... or Zenimax should celebrate the One Tamriel release success and buy another "Mega Server" 8 ).

Well, nothing worked for me. I've done all the options available on the website or indicated by the support. All doors in "the world" are open (overreacting), I repaired the launcher, downloaded the patch manifest and everything else. The funny thing is I can normally log on EU server, but nothing for NA. Always the same errors: "could not connect to the server".

I haven't tried logging into the EU server, but I am still locked out of the US server.

I get error codes 200, 108 and 301, which basically say "login failed" or "Could not connect to server". I tried a lot of things, including what the support team recommended, but nothing worked.

Occasionally I am able to login, but then I get an infinite loading screen either when choosing my character or when moving from one zone to another.

It's not right to announce that "the issues related to logging in to the megaservers have been resolved at this time" when in fact they were not. You might have solved the problem for most people, but some of us are still locked out, and ZOS does not seem to acknowledge the issue.

Support keeps telling me to update my video driver, my router firmware and other non-sense.

Same here! I can normally play in EU server, except for the 300 ping. 3 days in a row now, since friday. Support stopped to answer since last night, obviously because they will adress the error on MONDAY MAINTENANCE.

Really frustrating for those who usually can only play on weekends.
