Kicked from server for excessive messaging?

In the middle of a duel and this happens even though I hadn't said anything in chat for at least like 20-30 mins?

It'a a misleading message. It happens sometimes on PS4 when there is too much lag. It kicks you out and displays a random message. Don't worry about it. It happened to me quite a few times already.

The message is referring to messages from your client to the server. Yes, it happens as a result of lag.

I had it on PS4 last week, Was lagging badly then I got kicked. Then I got told off for excessive messaging (spam)

The guys on here explained it well though. Nothing to worry about, you haven't done anything wrong.

I had this when doing prison pledge few days ago.

Whole dungeon was a riot because of bugs with weapon swapping, using abilities all messed up. Finally got boss down to 10% and I got kicked for this, team killed the boss but I didn't get the completion and missed out on keys. Wasn't too chuffed!

Message is a bit cryptic as it means information sent to the server. That happens sometimes if you lag and still mash buttons and then all at once that information gets sent to the server. For that you get kicked cause it could in theory be someone who wants to overload the server with messages.

Ok that explains it, I was in the middle of a duel and I've had it before where my screen freezes cause of lag for a few secs and then I'm fine but when it happened this time since I was dueling I sat there and spammed BoL like 5+ times lol
