it allows people who can only collect low tier mats to sell them to crafters such as our selves. creates a market for them now instead of us just gathering them.

This is not ideal nor fair. What happened to playing the way I want to play? I don't want to invest 10 skill points in Blacksmithing just so that every single ore node will be rubedite. It makes no sense to be level 50 CP 264 and half or more than half the nodes are Tier 1 materials. Please fix this. Don't penalize the players who gathers with their main and crafts with an alternate.

The remaining skill points are invested in passives, combat trees, and class trees. My crafting toon is also level 50 CP 264. But, has fewer skill points to use for "combat" since the majority are into the crafting trees for blacksmithing, woodworking, and clothing. That means fewer points into passives in armor, combat, and class trees. It's a weaker build. I'm not running around with a level 25 collecting. I want to collect as I do other stuff with my characters that are not dedicated crafters. I hope that makes more sense to you.
