Character Sheet Armor Bonus

On the top right of the character sheet there Are stars for armor bonus. Can someone explain what that is for or means? Mine has 4 white stars in mostly legendary gear, but purple jewelry and helmet shoulder.

If your gear was behind your player level, there would be less stars. Since CP160 is max gear lvl, you will see 4 stars forever. Unless you get naked and invite random player to a fist fight. I guess you will have about zero stars then. Not to mention dignity.
