Convert an existing item to a different style?

So many cool motifs come out all the time but I don't bother to buy them because item sets I wear are from IC and dungeons. They often look awful, and there is no way to convert them to a different style. As an Imperial, I can transform most of the existing items into an Imperial style. I think Bethesda should give us the ability (using some stone, or whatever) to convert any item to a different style. It's just such a waste of job well done by designers.

Only the 100th thread on this; at this point, I think every player wants this. :D

@Mic1007 is right. I've asked for this myself, in the form of costume tokens. Even just the simple functionality of changing an existing armor or clothing set to a costume. I do think a lot of players want this.

And just a gentle reminder that this is a Zenimax and not a Bethesda game. Anything added to the game will be added by Zenimax, not Bethesda. :) Just an FYI.

Just going to copy paste my idea from another thread on this subject...

What I would like them to do is add crafting morphs that crafters can make and sell that allows you to morph a weapon or armor to a different style...

The mat cost could be directly related to the item level..

This way if you get 160 gear sets but can't stand the look of you could craft morphs to change it to a different style. It would also allow you to change gear to look like lower level mat styles like Iron if you wished.

It would also open another market for crafters as well...

    Great idea!

Ah yea, was just typing in a hurry from work. Yep, yep, Zenimax.
Since so many people requested this and we still don't have it in the game, makes me wonder if Zenimax even reads these threads.
Suggestion to Zenimax: Make a "Suggestions" forum like other games have, to filter out community ideas from other topics, and browse it every now and then.
