Wow, that's a lot of caps. Forgive me for not reading it. My download was 35 Mb/s the entire time. Took around 90 minutes.

Apparently they are pissed with all the caps, some people need to vent their rage regardless if the reason is valid. I guess it makes them feel better .... I just go to the fridge and grab a cold beer .....

I for one was just getting 60-75 Mb/s on my fiber optic 75 Mb/s internet. I was able to download the patch in 50 minutes (yes I set my stopwatch) .....

They were probably downloading just after the patch went live. With about 50% of the population downloading on two platforms. This was probably hitting the ZOS servers hard. Then again, no server can handle that regardless of the internet connection .....

Maybe ZOS need to go back to releasing XB1 & PS4 on separate days as the double platform download probably made things worse .....

You realise the download servers are by Microsoft and Sony respectively? Hence why they go through certification. Each game (at a logical guess) has a certain amount of bandwidth (regarding consecutive downloads) it can run at before it get's traffic managed (most ISP's do this too, at least here in the UK).
