Does Spell Power Cure only affect 6 people? How many will LIghts Champion affect?

Hello, I have been running vet trials as a healer lately, and I wear my SPC and Aether and the other healer usually does SPC and Worm or some combo like that. I've also been told that SPC only can affect 6 people, so both healers need to be running it, but I can't find any indication that that is actually true. Is that actually true?

    I've read that the set 'gossamer' which a lot of healers use only affects 6 people. Can't give you anything more though I'm afraid

    Not saying that you are wrong, but is there any evidence of this? I would have been saying the same thing as you yesterday, but I am just questioning it. It could be a huge fallacy.

    Well, that's why I'm questioning it, because we were waiting for someone who DC'ed and I got 11 peoples arms to glow (technically 14 because of NPCs).

    Go to a crowded town like Grahtwood and be that obnoxious person. Try to proc spc on more than 6 unsuspecting people. It cracks a lot- and you'll think you're getting more than six but note the active procs. I think it's limited.

    You can also try it before your trial group starts when they are all stacking up to enter the door. Then you can have them line up for you if you want.

    For my group, I want both healers wearing it- especially since their are moments in trials where you split. (Hel Ra- up and downstrairs. AA- you get 3 groups. Put the healers where you need them. Def. 1 to the right. Sanctum has a huge spread for mantikora fight- cover your dps and spread apart your heals. ) I haven't tried playing with spc in town for a while now but when I first got it back before TG dlc, I can say I couldn't get it to hit more than 6 at a time.

    @Hamiltonmath

    Not sure what you want as evidence but SPC most assuredly only affects a max of 6. The evidence comes from experience with it. Test it out yourself.

    You guys are doing the right thing. It is only 6 people, so any raid should have 2 healers running it. The other 5 piece should typically not be the same.

    Good options for the other 5 piece: Aether, Worm, Gossemer.

    Someone should be running Aether in every raid. If DPS are not, then a healer definitely should. Worm is also really nice if you are heavy on magic DPS. If you have mostly stam (in melee), then gossemer is probably better.

    I don't want to create another topic so allow me to you yours, what you guys think of Twilight Remedy for trials? It seems kind effective since templars have a lot of sinergies.
    “Kings of the land and the sky we are; proud gryphons.” Stalker stands, the epitome of pride. Naked and muscular, his wings widen and his feet dig in as if he alone holds down the earth and supports the heavens, keeping the two ever separate.”

    Twilight is beast. Spam undaunted magika synergy and the whole group can have a pop at the buff. It's a long cool down on taking synergies from the same source but still the best set to use with spc.

    Yep, knew I was forgetting one of them. :smiley:

    Twilight Remedy is one of those sets that looks good on paper, but does have its draw backs. I dont think synergy smashing is a good way to get heals in a raid(especially considering synergies are REALLY buggy to use), so you are really doing this for the minor force. Basically, all stamina classes and some magic classes already get this from Rearming Trap. This is one of those sets where you really need to gauge your group. If it is full of magic sorcs, then this is a pretty nice set. If it is mostly stamboys running around, it's pretty useless.

    Edit: Funny thing is I actually deconed about 30 pieces of this set last night. Surprised I didnt remember. haha
