Twilight Tormentor - A rework

Right now almost 90% of all players in my guilds and in my friend list I've asked what morph they chose on Winged Twilight answered the same: Twilight Matriarch.
Why is that? Because Twilight Tormentor lacks in the role it is supposed to take. It has an activateable ability that should increase the damage versus targets with life above 50%. However because the damage it outputs is so weak and the winged twilight tormentor still has that little hit points it does not make any sense.

My suggestion: Replace the Winged Twilight with the Grievous Twilight found in Imperial City DLC.

Morph #1: Twilight Tormentor
Summons a more aggressive combatant of Molag Bal, created just for battle. Its basic attacks deal more damage than the Winged Twilight and it has about three times its health. The Twilight Tormentor will not stick to the player anymore but seek out enemies in a certain distance (much like Scamps and Clannfears already do). Activating the ability again while targeting an enemy will trigger "Dark Barrage", a skill the Grievcous Twilights ingame are already using. The Twilight will teleport upon the enemy and begin to cast a barrage of 6 energy projectiles. The projectiles will deal Magic damage and start of pretty weak but increase in power with the time the barrage lasts. The last strike of the attack has a guaranteed stun effect unless the target blocks or dodges. The activation has a cooldown of 10 seconds per enemy! The damage of this barrage should be around 1,5 the damage of a regular Crystal Shard.

I think, they should just make it so, that the twilight tormentors extra damage depends on the health percentage of the target.

For example 100% more damage against targets with 100% health, 20% more damage against targets with 20% health and so on.
So the overall damage increase would be 50%. It's very usefull right now.

But honestly, I still wouldn't use it even with this change. 50% of nothing is still nothing.

Can't think of any reason to use the non heal one when i'm running my pet build

the heal is massive and allows ya to use Volatile instead

    Excellent idea.

If they keep the tormentor, then it should have a proper activatable damage skill and the extra damage to high health enemies should be passive.

Dump the twilight tormentor completely and replace with a more utility based pet that passively increases your damage but deals no damage of its own (daedric prey thus buffs their buff on you vs that target). Active ability is a targeted or aoe targeted debuff.

Would love to see a Stamina-oriented pet.

im not into the change you proposed, but I do agree that this skill utterly sucks and needs a better activated skill Meanwhile in storm atronach land, this guy is needing a rework and a buff badly too.

The skill does need a rework, but if they just changed the model to the grievous tormentor then I would choose the morph for the cool factor.

It's an interesting idea. Only problem is, pet sorcs are already overperforming in duels vs normal sorcs, so buffing them up further won't do any good, unless you want every sorc to start running 3 meat shields with necropotence/infernal and make your screen clogged 100% while fighting them.

As for necropotence, that stuff needs a serious nerf in my opinion.

again..... *yawn* didn't you make another thread about this. if you lost then you need to l2p. i know plenty of straight up sorc mages that have no problems at all in duels. stop complaining on the forums. no one in their right mind is saying pets are op.this is a major case of l2p with some salt added.

If you look at the clanfear, it actually deals physical damage.
The pet's attacks are weak imo, but clanfear is really a stamina pet.

The damage increases with your total magicka, regardless of the type of damage it applies. There are no pets besides Pack Leader wolves which scale on your max Stamina.

Do you have some anger issues Gothren? Why don't you provide some useful criticism instead of just trying to insult people by telling them that they're salty and they need to l2p. I think you're the salty one here and probably don't want your OP sets taken away from you. That's clearly a l2p issue I'd say. Now please avoid me, I have nothing to talk about with players such as yourself.
