gonna guess you just started running VMA. Don't bank on getting any traits on specific weapons from there. Especially sharpened
Do a Bloodspawn Test with both bows and see which gives higher DPS on a simple rotation.

1. Do you run maelstrom enough to think you might get a sharpened bow soon? (Odds are about a 1/84 chance to get it btw)
2. How much of your dps is endless hail and venom arrow responsible for individually on your current bow?
If your answer to 1 is anything short of "yes I plan to grind maelstrom for the weapons", then I'd say it's still worth considering. If venom arrow is a much larger contributer to damage than endless hail in your current rotation, I'd say stick with that one.
Currently, I'm using a gold precise bow on a stam sorc that doesn't use venom arrow. That way I have a stronger hail that is also more likely to crit. Dps wise, you're likely to be better off using the sharpened bow but there are circumstances where using an alternative trait is justifiable. Ultimately, it comes down to your own assessment of the value of using a maelstrom bow versus the value of the rosins you'd need.
