daily random normal dungeon

lately every time i try to do a daily random normal dungeon i'm ported to a random veteran dungeon. is there any way to prevent this to happen? when i select "random veteran dungeon" i'm correctly sent to a "random veteran dungeon", but when i select "random normal dungeon" i'd really like to be sent to a normal dungeon and not to a veteran one.

Sounds like a bug, even with Vet selected in your group settings picking random normal forces me to Normal.

Could try changing your social / group settings just in case. But sounds odd.

Are you sure it's not just the normal version of the old vet dungeons?

i don't know if it is a bug or another pathetic change, but today i already tried many times with different characters, and when i pick "random normal dungeon" i'm always ported to a "random veteran dungeon", and the stupid thing is that after i leave the dungeon level that i didn't pick, i'm always forced to wait 15 minutes for another try as if it was my fault

at least they could remove the "random normal dungeon" if it doesn't work anymore.

it always shows a huge veteran symbol right in the load screen. unless they messed up the load screens, i'm sure i'm being sent to veteran dungeons.

Did you ask other people in the group if it was vet or normal?

As was mentioned... There are now normal versions of old veteran dungeons... So you might be getting those.

do those normal dungeons have now a huge veteran symbol on the load screen? usually i quit when i'm interested in a normal dungeon and i see the veteran symbol when loading. isn't that symbol supposed to be an alert that we are loading a veteran dungeon?

There is a symbol on the load screen every now and then. But you not noticing them wouldn't surprise me since you only just found out there is a visual cue to block enemy attacks

Yeah, the Veteran Dungeons now have a faded Veteran shield over the left side of the loading screen.

The veteran shield image may be a bug for the loading screen. The only way to know for sure what difficulty your current dungeon is would be to check in the Group window and looking at the setting above the player names.

lol it's funny because it's true... @MissBizz managed to play the game for 2.5 years without noticing that there's a visual cue to block. This might give people some insight into her playstyle

I always thought the visual cue was the animation they did! There ARE noticable animations for when you need to block (like the boss winding up to punch you, haha)

ok... confirmed. i checked the group window and in fact i'm really being ported to veteran dungeons every time i ask for random normal dungeon. i decided to quit asking for a random normal dungeon and now i tried to pick a specific normal dungeon on "dungeon finder", and again, after waiting a lot of time for a group i was always ported to veteran dungeons. somehow all my characters are now unable to join normal dungeons

I did a random normal last night after maintenance and it was on normal but then again, there were people in the group below 50.

in that case it works well, if i pick a "random veteran dungeon" i'm correctly sent to a "random veteran dungeon". the problem is only with normal. i'm able to group with people to run a normal dungeon, but if i use the "dungeon finder" i'm always sent to a veteran dungeon no matters what my choice. maybe they changed it for the event, i don't know.
