Does Zenimax change the rule of vMA score system???

When One Teriamel hit the live server, I saw many good players got their new scores in the new game version, for example AndyS used his 4 class to obtain all No.1 places. However several days later, the leaderboard reset again without any notice (Maybe i missed official notes). Then today all vMA socres are the same as weekly scores. Does it main that the vMA score will always refresh weekly since the update ?
