But its weird that my level 10 dragonknight in white crafted armor is stronger than my level 50 nightblade in blues and purples....

While some numbers on some combos may be higher, the idea that a one bar all white w no jewel sets is actually "stronger" than a lvl 50 blues and purples is false unless some very creative eqiipping wad done to create the outcome.

Thry give the lowers a little boost on some numbers tp offset some of the other low level dettrments - like few passives active, no bar swaps, no skill lines maxed, etc etc etc.

You did compare dk to nb right?

Yep, my dk is stronger even with one bar (in pve). Kills mobs much faster, doesn't die.

It's stats that's why. I still think they need to tweak scaling a bit to help give the feeling of progression even if you never really out level the content you should feel stronger as you get higher up

Mostly, I think they are trying to make the game more challenging for the higher level characters, and that requires that you scale the character less. They just did it wrong.

Any number of build difference could manufacture that result especially if comparing results vs pve mobs for a AOE DOT Dk vs a more solo target focused NB.

have any comparisons for same class at thwe widely differing levels against a variety of adversaries?

But, also, are you saying your lvl 50+cp NB dies against pve mobs?

The design intention is to have all levels able to play with each other and they over scale stats to make up for no twink gear, lack of passives, one bar and light on skills.

I think they succeeded at that but could dial it back some for those that want to feel more progress

I just started a brand new baby toon since One Tamriel, and I can say for sure that I feel like leveling up makes me feel more powerful. Having access to more skills, earning more gold, unlocking Cyro and then a second bar. Being able to take on bigger mobs, etc.

In any case, it's kind of a moot point because the solo content was and is such a faceroll that "feeling more power" doesn't really mean much. What matters is, "am I having fun," and I'd say One Tamriel solo content delivers on that much better than the solo content did before, when it was so easy to outlevel things.

    Agree

With my two under 10s and my 18 taking advantage of the witches thing, but my cappers playing enough to get valuable goodies flowing from their dailies, i have not yet seen anything that makes me think or see my lowers are more powerful than my highers against similar mobs.

Now, of course, if my 7 runs against a solos wolf in glenumbra while my capper runs into a trio of winterborn in wrothgar, the former will be done quicker. But i am levelling my guys up in the DLCs first (mostly) so their opposition is similar. Definitely a different feel with lvl 7 vs three winterborn with only 10 cp spent on regen for the harvest passive and no jewels.
