Research Timer Reset Because of Skill Point Reallocation?

i had my last nirnhoned item down to 14x hours, the end was finally in sight: nine traits on all gear...
then:
i did a reset on my skill points today and suddenly the research timer on the final item went back to the beginning.
never had this happen before and i hope i never do again.
anyone else get the benefit of this little 'feature?'

✭✭Isn't that always the case? I assumed it's inteded to prevent people from starting research and then putting the points in a different skill while keeping the low research times.
btw. as far as I remember the research times will get reduced again once you skill those passives again.0 -
