Confusion about the Night Mothers Embrace Set

I was farming this set today with the festival and got more than two dozen rings and neck pieces of varying grades, but they were all healthy where as I was after robust, fair enough I thought, maybe it's a tank set and only comes in healthy. Then I got Bone Tooths charm from the mine near the central dolmen which with one tamriel is mow a part of this set and it does have robust, is this a bug or are their other named rings that are now part of this set that also have robust? It would be a big help if anyone knew one way or the other

It's because that quest or unique boss drop item was randomly assigned a set bonus from the zone... but still retained the trait from the original. The original didn't have a set bonus prior to 1T update.

Night Mother's Embrace is currently (mostly) dropping in heavy... and from what I can tell, all the "heavy" sets use Healthy.

It SHOULD be dropping in medium (and very rarely does) and I'm guessing that means the jewelry will then drop as robust.

You mentioned you did get a robust item.. welp, could be like how I found 1 medium piece of the set from a chest

Hm, I have yet to see a medium nightmother's embrace set - I have a couple of these sets on my characters, but all are heavy pieces - I normally use chest, pauldron and head piece plus 2 rings for the set bonus. But my characters are mainly medium armor users, so this is not really what I want - is there really a medium set of it as well?

@Lysette If you go to the link I included in my post you'll see that it should now be dropping in medium... and there should be a fixing coming

It was originally a medium set in the 25-29 level range. I'm still using my old pieces for my less, um, legal activities since I've always been too much of a miser to upgrade to a CP160 set after the Thieves Guild update. I actually didn't notice that all of the new set pieces were heavy.

I had some of it in medium on a lower level, 34 or so, that came from a Thieves trove. Not managed to find any at cp160 yet which is really annoying!

@Integral1900 That's why I've been hanging out in Deshaan. Getting as many heavy pieces I can so I'll have it in medium AND heavy

May be cheap because I think Deshaan is rocking for all the Mother's Sorrow stuff.. so the heavy stuff may be priced right.

Yes,bow and 2H with this set and fairly cheap in guild stores.
